Sunrise in Sandefjord

I took these two pictures with my mobile phone through a window the other day at around 9 a.m. This is the harbor in Sandefjord. It must have been the most beautiful sunrise I have ever witnessed. The colors in these pictures were not enhanced in any way. Luckily it had just snowed the night before which I think it gave these pictures that extra wow factor.

I'm having a very lazy sunday and I am embracing it, for once. Tea, home baked spice cookies and lots of reading...love it!

Summer in Norway

Been not spending as much time outdoors lately as I normally do. In this area we are living in there is so much to do and so many things to see/ explore. Trying to divide my time spend in my studio and my day job has made it difficult to get out as much as I usually do. It is summer after all and a lot of my co- workers are on holidays. So I have been working full time these past two months. Things will slow down a bit next month and I will get to spend some good quality time behind my bench. In addition we are heading to Germany to visit my family plus visiting my favorite stone suppliers! I'm excited to be picking stones first hand instead of over the internet. Can't wait to start working on new designs!

Happy Sunny Monday

Ahhh, nothing is more full filling at times then to sit on the porch with a cup of tea to enjoy the early morning sun rise. I went out, took a couple of pictures of some spring flowers that are blooming underneath the apple  tree.
A great time for a reflection of gratitude!

Hello again

It's been so long since my last blogpost that I almost have a bad conscience.
Things are going to change soon. I realize how much I miss sharing bits and pieces of my life and work with you. Life has been quite busy for me in the past couple of months and I just did not have a chance and the energy to blog. After all, blogging should be done with joy and not because one has to.
I'll be working on new jewelry in the next couple of days and should have some new pieces to show early next week!
