Good things come in two

Here are a couple of new pieces I managed to create today. Perfect way to spend a day off. Looks like fall is just around the corner. It's quite windy out and overcast which always inspires me to spend some time behind the bench.

The necklace features a gorgeous carnelian gemstone that I have been hoarding for a long time. I used to take it out of its patted little box just to touch it. It is beautifully polished and the color is an intense deep orange. Just lovely if you ask me! :-)

The bracelet comes with a pretty bezel set lapis stone along with hand forged and textured links along with blue sodalite beads.

Hope you like them!

Have a wonderful day!

Love,
Sabine

Sunny side up Necklace

Woke up early this morning and thought to finish this necklace that I started working on yesterday. It has three carnelian cabochons with the focal one being quite yellow.
I'm on some sort of whimsical kick right now. Not sure why. Perhaps it has something to do with all the trips we've been taking to old, charming parts of small towns along the coast line here.
At noon we hopped in the car and took a long drive to two different popular towns. One is called Risør and the other Kragerø. Took some pictures that I will be posting a little bit later. Incredibly beautiful places. About 95% of all the houses in Risør are painted white. It is a town, overlooking the rugged coastline and has tons of different art galleries. I can see how people can get inspired living there. I left both of these places feeling peaceful and inspired to create. What wonderful places one can find here. If you ever have the chance to visit Norway make sure you get to see those places.

Wishing you all a happy and mellow weekend!

xx,
Sabine
