New work

I have been having a great time crafting new  pieces in the past couple of weeks. I'm eager for spring to make its mark which shows in my inspirations and colors of my latest pieces.
Spring has not arrived here yet. It snowed again yesterday. Hopefully that was the last bit of it for this winter. The temperatures are slowly rising, I even sat out on the porch a few days ago enjoying the morning sun and hearing the birds chirp away. What a lovely way to start out the day. Almost meditative.

I am excited about my order of enamel powder that is on its way. I have already started sawing out designs for earrings and necklaces, ready to be enameled. At this point I feel the intense need to further my craft, to learn something new and to step out of my creative comfort zone. I am also investing into some sand casting materials. Can't wait to get started. I need change, and I figure with having more options and materials it broadens my chance to make a more diverse line of jewelry.

Below is some of my latest work.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

I have been playing with enamels too. It's so much fun, you'll love it.
